Meet Jeri Garrett

At the heart of Cactus Flower Gifts & Interiors is owner and designer Jeri Garrett, a Texas Registered Interior Designer with decades of experience creating beautiful, livable spaces along the Texas coast. A professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), Jeri is known for her ability to blend timeless design with the relaxed elegance of coastal living.

Cactus Flower began in 1981 as a small retail shop founded by Jeri and her mother, Josephine Gibbs. Over the years, Jeri has grown the business into a full-service interior design destination—offering everything from furniture and décor to complete remodeling and turnkey design services for homes and condominiums on South Padre Island.

Jeri’s design philosophy centers on creating spaces that are both functional and inviting, reflecting each client’s personal style while embracing the natural beauty of the coastal environment. Her expertise spans space planning, kitchen and bath design, furniture selection, custom finishes, and complete project coordination.

A respected member of the local business community, Jeri has played an active role in the growth and character of South Padre Island for decades. Today, she continues to lead Cactus Flower with the same passion and attention to detail that have made it a trusted name in interior design and home décor.
